We are Hiring - Front Office Customer Service Traineeship Role Available

We are looking for a talented person for the Front of Office role for our busy workshop.

This is a highly professional, customer focused role which is based on best practice.

Port Adelaide Auto Repairs is a Family Owned & Operated business. Conveniently located in the heart of Port Adelaide, next to the Trinity Medical Centre. What the role entails:

  • Manage customer service enquiries via phone and in person, serving as the first point of contact with customers to promote quality customer service;
  • Build a rapport and relationship with customer.
  • Relate with customers to find out their exact needs;
  • Advise customers of best course of action regarding service and repairs for their vehicle;
  • Create repair estimates, book in vehicles for service; order and check parts;
  • Arrange transport for incoming parts.
  • Receiving and allocating incoming parts.
  • Inventory control including parts returns.
  • Data entry.
  • Arranging courtesy vehicles check in/out with customers.
  • Arranging the collection and delivery of vehicles.
  • Consistently liaise between the customer and the workshop, keeping the customer updated with progress and ensuring a smooth process from beginning to end;
  • Follow procedures.
  • Document faults, diagnostic work carried out and any other information in the management system in order to have an accurate record of work completed;
  • Prepare and present invoices to customers, including the processing of cash/credit transactions;
  • Liaise with management to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Assist Admin Manager, as necessary.

The position is available from 5 days per week (full time) and the hours are 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends or public holidays).
